Purpose | All My Days Sermon Series | Pastor Melissa Boyer | October 4, 2026

*What makes you come alive? And what if discovering your purpose is simpler than you think?* In this week's message from our All My Days sermon series, Pastor Melissa Boyer explores the connection between prayer, purpose, and living fully alive in God's presence. Drawing inspiration from theologians Howard Thurman and Irenaeus, Pastor Melissa challenges the idea that each of us must discover one grand, life-defining purpose. Instead, she invites us to recognize the many ways we come alive through love, creativity, service, relationships, and connection with God. Perhaps our shared purpose isn't something we need to search for at all. Perhaps it's already within us: to bring a little more heaven to earth through compassion, generosity, beauty, peace, and being our truest selves. *In this sermon, discover:* Why purpose doesn't have to be a single calling or career. How recognizing what makes us come alive can deepen our faith. What it means to participate in God's kingdom here on earth. Why embracing our authentic selves is part of living faithfully. How small acts of love and service create a beautiful mosaic of purpose. Join us as we continue exploring prayer and its place in our lives through the All My Days series. *Sermon:* Purpose *Series:* All My Days *Preacher:* Pastor Melissa Boyer *Date:* October 4, 2026 *Church:* The United Methodist Church of Babylon *Location:* Babylon, New York Visit us: https://babylonumc.org #AllMyDays #Purpose #PastorMelissaBoyer #BabylonUMC #ChristianSermon #FaithAndPurpose #Prayer #UnitedMethodistChurch
