At the agricultural exhibition organized jointly by the Krishi Vigyan Kendra and the Agriculture Development Trust in Baramati, farmers will be able to see a state-of-the-art laser-based weed removal machine. Due to the increasing shortage of farm laborers, many farmers are extensively using chemical pesticides for weed control. This is leading to the deterioration of soil quality and fertility. As an alternative to this problem, this new machine has been developed that uses laser technology to burn and destroy weeds and grass. This advanced weed removal machine is currently on display for farmers to see firsthand at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra exhibition in Baramati.
