Brake Checking a Tailgater Is the Worst Move You Can Make on a Motorcycle

Brake checking a tailgater on a motorcycle might feel like the right way to get a driver off your bumper, but it puts nearly all the risk on the rider. In this video I share a real road-rage encounter that started with nothing more than a flash of my taillights and ended with a driver trying to point a gun at me. Then we walk through what a brake check actually does to the rider who uses it, the one thing you can control when someone is tailgating you, and what can happen after a brake check even when nobody gets hit, including how it can shift the blame for a rear-end crash onto you. If you've ever had a truck grille fill your mirror, watch this before the next time it happens. **BECOME A MEMBER** GET INSTANT ACCESS TO THE FORUMS AND FIELD GUIDE http://www.MCrider.com/Member Order my books: The MCrider Field Guide & The Road Strategy Book https://www.MCrider.com/Books Amazon Books https://www.MCrider.com/AM-Books Get MCrider Hats, T-Shirts, & Reflective Decals https://www.MCrider.com/Store SUBSCRIBE to MCrider on YouTube http://www.MCrider.com/subscribe MCrider videos are now dubbed in several languages, including: Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, German, French, Japanese, Indonesian, Italian, Korean, and Polish.
