This tutorial covers the basics of customizing the Doom Experience for GZDoom. It makes use of SLADE to run through the common lumps found in a standard WAD when editing and follows on with an explanation of a class makeup in Zscript before concluding with a follow-along build-your-own monster session where we serve up Custom Imps 3 ways! It's made more as a practical guide covering the most common elements of SLADE editing and ZScript class editing and is far from an exhaustive guide, and assumes you've already downloaded SLADE and are able to navigate the very basics of the tool.
