Meru to Nairobi via Nanyuki — The Scenic Drive That Broke the Subie 💔🚗🌄

From Tigania East, Meru all the way to Nairobi, we took the scenic Nanyuki route — smooth tarmac, light traffic, and beautiful views all the way. Though a bit longer than the Embu–Meru highway, this route is definitely faster and more relaxing. But not everything went smoothly — halfway through, the Subie’s gear started acting up, explaining the strange fuel consumption we’d noticed (and those old plugs didn’t help either 😅). Still, we made it home safely — but that drive marked the beginning of tough times for the Subie. Afterwards came the repairs… and yes, I even got scammed by a mechanic on the gear replacement 😩.
