Meditation on Morecambe | GrandOrgue | Bückeburg Equal Temperament Organ

Meditation on Morecambe — Brian Glyncannon Featuring the Bückeburg Organ — New Equal Temperament Version A quiet meditation on the beautiful hymn "Spirit of God" that gradually unfolds into something almost heavenly. In the first stanza, the melody rests gently upon the beautiful Principals and Flutes of the Bückeburg organ, creating a warm, peaceful foundation. Then, in the second stanza, the music seems to float above the hot chocolate of the accompaniment — like the froth of heaven. The beautiful Regal and Quintaton 8' solo lines emerge above the texture, while tender Flutes echo gently from one side to the other as the melody passes between the right and left hands. This performance features my new Equal Temperament version of the Bückeburg organ, prepared especially for GrandOrgue. The equal temperament gives the instrument a beautifully even and singing quality while allowing the colours of the organ to speak with warmth and clarity. 🎹 GrandOrgue organ performance 🎼 Meditation on Morcambe — Brian Clynes 🎧 Bückeburg Organ — Equal Temperament Version May this little meditation bring a moment of peace, beauty, and quiet reflection.
