Traffic Lights Before Upgrade | 10 Mile & Lawrence

This video documents the traffic signal upgrade currently in progress at the intersection of 10 Mile Road and Lawrence Avenue in Center Line, Michigan. You can see the transformation taking shape right before your eyes, with the new hardware installed but not yet active, sitting side by side with the vintage signals. Just a short distance away near Center Line City Hall, you can see the transition in full swing. The new black mast arms are up, featuring 2 New 12-inch MoboTrex LED heads with backplates, while the older mast arm is still standing with wires running between the old and new poles. At 10 Mile & Lawrence the new black mast arms are fully loaded with 8 Black 12-inch MoboTrex LED heads with backplates and 2 4-Section Flashing Yellow Arrow heads. All of these new heads are currently facing away from traffic, waiting to be energized. The corners also feature 8 New Countdown Pedestrian Signals. The intersection is currently running on the vintage span wire configuration. This includes 12-inch 3-Way Clusters and a unique Center 2-Way Cluster that features a Left Arrow Sign in the middle.
