Metallica - Blackened (MOP Remastered)

This was a little experiment. I wanted to see if I could try to make the tracks sound closer to the tracks from Master of Puppets, and this is the result. Now, I was unable to get the drums on par with Master, but I think I got them to sound a touch more lively. Adding different levels of EQ and compression, as well as a touch of reverb. I attempted to bring the bass out more, but I didn't want it to be overblown. Instead of making it louder, I gave it more room. The problem with Metallica's albums is how much of the low frequencies the guitars take up. So I gave more of that to Jason, keeping the guitars tightly in the middle. As close as I could get them to Master of Puppets. Normally I'd go for Black album, but that just couldn't be achieved with the stems I had. If you like it, I might be tempted to do similar work to other parts of the album.
