Drop Zone: Southern France (Worthington) - Unbox & Look at the Second D-Day

Drop Zone: Southern France, a detailed company-level tactical game on the Allied airborne assault (code-named Operation Rugby) that spearheaded the invasion of Southern France, the second D-Day, August 15th, 1944. It covers the first two days of airborne operations conducted by the First Airborne Task Force (1st ABTF), a combined American, British and Canadian airborne unit. The game is on a large 34 by 22-inch game board that details the area the paratroopers landed in a dozen miles behind the landing beaches on the French Riviera. The game can be played by 2, 3, or 4 players or solitaire (as the Allies).
