Hundreds of kilometers around Baranti lake of Purulia get dressed like a bride with the colors of Palash flower this time in winter every year. Numerous hotels and resorts are open for you around the lake to welcome you. But in this particular episode the village named Dandahit, where I stayed a night have no good option of lodging. Same for the Bheti village too. But you can have a beautiful guy named Babu who operates between Muradi and Baranti with his toto. He has a handful of knowledge about palash around these places. I had an intention to spend a night in a crude rural area in Purulia where I can’t expect any luxury except the warmth of the simple villagers. And certainly I got it.
