Operation Epic Fury at RAF Fairford | AWESOME B1and B52 TAKEOFFS + 747's and C130s

I am finally back! After a long break from youtube, I felt the best way to start again was one of my favourite videos that I have ever taken... Operation Epic Fury gave us one of the biggest deployments at RAF Fairford since the Cold War, with over 20 B52s and B1s stationed there since March! As someone who had yet to film either a B52 or B1 in the flesh, I made it my absolute mission to get over there... Fairford is very difficult however, being completely out in the sticks it is almost impossible to reach if you do not have a car. A 6:30 wake up plus numerous forms of public transport managed to get me there in the nick of time, all while bearing in mind that I would be going away the next day! That day remained my only opportunity to go, and i am very glad to have taken it.... This video features a double launch of each type, featuring 86-0102 and 86-0139 from Ellsworth AFB and 61-0001 and 60-0023 from Minot AFB In addition to the stars of the show, I have also included the appearence of Atlas Air and Western Global 747's which were transferring supplies in assistance of the operation and the C130 Hercules taking off... The entirety of this video summarises what has essentially been every day during OEF, the action is non stop sometimes! The sound of the B1's taking off as well as the b52's eery taxiing noise is enough to want to see this video! It is hugely relieving to have both these types on record now....
