I Recreated My Childhood Gaming Room

For a long time I've felt like gaming doesn't quite feel the same as it did when I was a kid. Growing up in the early 2000s, gaming felt exciting, magical and completely immersive. Whether it was playing retro games like Pokémon on my 3DS, jamming some Guitar Hero, PlayStation 2 games, or spending hours in front of a CRT TV, those memories have stayed with me for years. As an adult, gaming started to feel very different. Everything became online, competitive, always connected and always updating. So I decided to recreate a childhood gaming room inspired by the games, consoles and spaces that made me fall in love with gaming in the first place. This video isn't really about building a room. It's about trying to capture that feeling again... the excitement, comfort and nostalgia that made gaming feel special when we were kids.
