3-Note Per String Modes

In this video I cover the 3 note per string - 7 string mode system that helped me to unlock a way of understanding where I'm at on the fretboard. It's a super useful formula that I hope you can understand through my rantings and diagrams. This is not a full lesson on the use of modes in composing- but a great way to get to know your fretboard while adding some data for your future compositions and guitar theory needs. Kind of a lot- kind of not. Many things in guitar end up feeling that way. I had a few lightbulb moments when I started practicing my modes more and I hope you will too. Big shout out to my guitar professor, Grant Mazak, for passing this info on to me in music school at Texas State.
