Can A Cubicle Even Hold Nova After That Soda? | The Snackrooms

The Snackrooms office has a desk lunch that should come with a warning label. Nova Kitteridge, the bunny-eared girl in the cyan bodysuit, strolls into her green-walled cubicle where a burger on a plate and a couple of soda cans are waiting. A few bites later the whole corner turns blue: Nova puffs up into a gigantic round blueberry, jammed between the desk and the filing cabinet, feet kicking above her head while the camera circles her and the cubicle walls strain to hold her in. She grows until there is nowhere left to go, and then a huge yellow cloud bursts over the desk. When it clears, Nova is slim again and apparently learned nothing. She wanders down the hallway past the vending area, into the conference room, and straight to a long wooden table with an open box of pink, purple and chocolate donuts, grabbing them one after another while little white puffs float up around her.
