Killer Whale Up Close Tour Part 1 - Seaworld San Diego - July 11, 2018

MUCH BETTER than last time, only 2 other people were on the tour this day, so they let me tag along after the filtration inspection we preformed (I got up on the Skywalks ahhhhhh). In this tour they are approximating the slide out behaviors with Ikaika, Makani, and Corky. Even the whales cheat sometime, and this practice is to teach the whales not to cheat and come all the way up on the slide out. Unlike Keet, who cheats all the time (but we forgive him). Makani did not do what he was asked, so a LRS was given. He was bridged when he returned to the stage, to let him know that while he didn't get the first direction correct, he did return to the stage and that is what the trainers want. Everyone makes mistakes, and there is no negativity here. Just positives and neutrals. Was nice to hear the trainers talk about not swimming with the animals any more, and bridging the animals correctly. Please do no use my footage without my permission
