Our adventure continues, and this time, we are taking you across the beautiful waters of Lake Victoria as we travel to visit Rusinga Highland! 🌊❤️ After spending time exploring life around Kisumu and the surrounding areas, we got the opportunity to experience something different — travelling across the lake on a water bus with my family. 🚤 The journey itself was an adventure, with the beautiful lake, fresh air, and amazing views making the experience even more memorable. Travelling with Merlene and our little Aurie makes every adventure special. ❤️ From enjoying the journey together to discovering new places, we are creating memories as a family while exploring the beauty of our home, Kenya. But the excitement didn’t end with the boat ride! 🐟😍 Upon arriving, we were welcomed by plenty of fresh fish. Seeing the fish and experiencing the local fishing culture gave us another glimpse into the lives of the communities around Lake Victoria. Fishing is an important part of life in this region, and it was exciting to witness this side of the lakeside experience. This journey reminded us that Kenya has so many beautiful places, interesting cultures, and hidden gems waiting to be explored. Sometimes, you don’t need to travel outside the country to experience something extraordinary.
