► Playlist:    • Zenless Zone Zero (PC)   Deadly Assault Adversity Mode | Version 3.2 Phase 1 (10/9/2026 ~ 24/9/2026) Total HP: 360.736.662 Buff used: Sharp Rupture My first 3 stars clear of Adversity!... that I got 6 hours before the reset last Thursday and took forever to edit, sorry for the late upload. It's not a perfect fight by any means since there are two big mistakes (and probably many more smaller ones that more experienced players will notice), which means the score could be higher, and I know the stage buff is doing a lot of heavy lifting too, but I'm honestly very proud of the result! I don't consider myself a particularly skilled player, far from it actually, but I decided to lock in and simply grinded this fight as a way to learn how to play Claret and this team, and in order to challenge myself and improve. Admittedly, it was very satisfying finding new strategies, experimenting with what worked and what didn't, and seeing the score increase after every attempt and how high I could push it, especially because by the end I reached 30k points by damage alone! Let's go over a quick breakdown of the fight. 🦇 Battle: 0:00 The way the initial part of the fight is routed is 100% consistent and ensures that Claret's resources will always be ready for the first Stun. Horizon will use its Control Skill after around 23 seconds, which is the perfect chance to detonate all 3 Maims without staggering it to not waste any time. Claret's Control Skill break generates a lot of Gash, so the gauge will be full again in time for the Stun window and, at this point, Claret should be out of her Crimson Inscription state (or just barely, but the counter will finish depleting her meter). Due to not entering Crimson Inscription at the very beginning to accumulate extra Sharpness, Claret will always have enough to activate it after this interaction and since Horizon is almost stunned, it's also the perfect opportunity for Rina to refresh her buffs and Moonlight Lullaby while Trigger's Aftershocks stun Horizon. Claret's ideal stun rotation is 3 Maims, 2 Chain Attacks, her Ultimate and 3 additional Maims, and it can be achieved against Horizon without any stun extension, although there's no room for error. Afterwards, Horizon will activate its first Corruptive Barrier. It's important to have Claret parry the Miasmic Vortex whirlwind twice for the extra Decibels, as well as using one Maim before this attack starts to break the barrier faster after Impairing Horizon, since you'll Stun it right away. A timely Shock proc after the second Chain Attack thanks to Rina's Ultimate gives Claret almost enough Decibels for her own Ult, and this is where the first big mistake happens: I focused too much on reaching 3000 dB since I was almost there that I extended Claret's Basic Attack for far longer than I should have, not even cancelling it with her Special. Instead, I could have used her Special to detonate the Maims and get the remaining Decibels so most, if not all, of Claret's Ultimate would have hit during the Stun window. Horizon will activate its second Corruptive Barrier shortly after recovering and will go for its Chain Parry sequence, basically Stunning itself again. The second mistake takes place here, and I honestly don't know why it happened? I assume it has to do with Manual Chain, like, I most likely mashed the Special button and Rina's attack hit Horizon at the same time as the button press, thus counting as a Manual Chain input, otherwise I have no idea. Whatever the case may be, it cost me roughly 1-1.5 secs which isn't ideal since there's not much time left at this point. Finally, it's possible to squeeze a fourth Stun during the remaining ~35 seconds but, unfortunately, it's the more RNG dependent part of the battle since Horizon can go for a slower laser combo instead of this quicker, three-attack sequence, and Trigger isn't the fastest Stunner either. Given how little time I had left and the mishap from above, I had to settle for 5 Maims before the fight ended. 🦇 Stage buff & Builds: 4:08 • Claret M0 with Crimson Thirst R1 ↪ Thorned Rose 4pc + Puffer Electro 2pc • Trigger M0 with Ice-Jade Teapot R1 ↪ Astral Voice 4pc + King of the Summit 2pc Teapot is the better W-Engine since the Def Shred of Spectral Gaze doesn't add much value as this team has a lot of Pen Ratio to begin with, and the Tea-riffic buff increases both Trigger's own Impact and the team's damage. • Rina M2 with Weeping Cradle R1 ↪ Moonlight Lullaby 4pc + Puffer Electro 2pc And Astralyn's chud son is here for support! And the unconditional damage boost too, of course. I did some attempts with Plugboo in case there were better timed Shock procs for extra dB but I couldn't find a meaningful way to incorporate it and the score was worse overall, so Snap it is.
