Ham Radio Manpack Portable Activation ( Complete Fail )

This was me and my brother's attempt at doing a Summits On The Air activation at Deckard Mountain just north of Hot Springs, Arkansas. I was going to give the ATAS-120 a try with the new radial kit, but the fairly steep slope that we had to operate on did not work at all with the requirements for this rather picky antenna. Anyway, lots of things were learned from this outing and still more to consider after the fact. If you have ever had an activity or event go as bad or worse leave it in the comments below.
