Heretic + Hexen Remastered Collection - No Commentary Gameplay | Surprise Shadow Drop 2025!

Dive into the dark fantasy world of the newly remastered Heretic + Hexen collection, shadow dropped during QuakeCon 2025! In this no-commentary gameplay video, I explore the definitive re-release of these iconic '90s FPS classics, including Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders, Hexen: Beyond Heretic, Hexen: Deathkings of the Dark Citadel, and the brand-new episodes Heretic: Faith Renewed and Hexen: Vestiges of Grandeur. This collection landed unexpectedly in my library—likely because I owned the original DOS versions on Steam—and what a treat it is! With enhanced visuals up to 4K 120 FPS, modern controller support, cross-platform multiplayer, and a remixed soundtrack by Andrew Hulshult, these games feel fresh yet nostalgic. Join me as I blast through undead knights and demonic cults with magic and medieval weaponry, revisiting these genre-defining shooters that I haven’t touched in ages (if ever!). What’s in this video? Gameplay of each title in the Heretic + Hexen collection Showcasing new features, improved performance, and the new episodes No commentary, just pure gameplay to let the games shine Available now on Xbox Game Pass, PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch! Note: If you own the original DOS versions of Heretic or Hexen on Steam or GOG, you may get this remastered collection as a free upgrade, like I did! Like, subscribe, and hit the bell for more retro FPS gameplay! Let me know in the comments if you’re revisiting these classics or experiencing them for the first time! #HereticHexen #Remastered #NoCommentary #ShadowDrop #QuakeCon2025 #FPS #RetroGaming #NightdiveStudios #idSoftware
