Shout it from the heavens! HEY! Let the whole world know! HEY! Shout it from the heavens— Jesus saved my soul! Verse 1 I was walking in the shadow of a storm I couldn’t break, Carrying the weight of every doubt I couldn’t shake. But mercy found me trembling, whispered, “Child, you’re not alone,” And suddenly the night lit up like glory on a throne. Oh, He turned my sorrow into dancing on the wind, Gave my broken heart a rhythm only freedom can begin. Pre-Chorus Now joy is rising higher, Like fire in my bones! A holy hallelujah— A sound that shakes the stones! Chorus So I’ll shout it from the heavens, let the skies hear my praise, Lift it up like a banner that my Savior still saves! With a heart reborn in thunder, and a song burning bright, I’ll shout it from the heavens — ’Cause my God brought me back to life! (HEY! Shout it from the heavens!) Verse 2 Now I’m running in the sunshine of a hope I never knew, Stepping out of ashes in a robe of mercy’s truth. Every chain that held me captive fell like dust beneath my feet, Now I’m singing with the angels to the resurrection beat. Oh, the river of His goodness keeps on pouring over me, And my soul can’t stay quiet when His love has set me free! Bridge – Trio Call & Response Lead: Who pulled me out the darkness?
