You can know the Bible, go to church, listen to sermons, and still miss what it means to actually follow Jesus. In James 1:19–27 and James 2:14–26, we're challenged with a hard truth: Genuine faith doesn't just change what we believe. It changes how we live. So what does it really mean when the Bible says, "Faith without works is dead"? And how do we move from simply knowing God's Word to actually living it out? In this message, we explore: Why knowing the Bible isn't the same as obeying it How to recognize when your faith has become passive What James means when he says faith without works is dead How our words, choices, and actions reveal what we believe Why obedience is a response to God's grace, not a way to earn it Reflect on this: What step of obedience have I been avoiding? 📖 Scripture: James 1:19–27; James 2:14–26 Join us in person on Thursdays at 7 p.m. prestontrail.org/youngadults #BookOfJames #FaithWithoutWorks #followingjesus
