Comedy - Hell (1) - Welcome To Hell

After a fatal car crash, corrupt privatized water company chairman Thomas Quintin Crimp awakens in Hell, initially mistaking his fiery surroundings for a dingy hospital ward. He meets Satan and his demon assistant Gary, and tries to negotiate his way out of eternal damnation by offering his family's souls. Meanwhile, a highly moral but strictly atheist academic, Professor Richard Whitten, also arrives in Hell. The Professor is convinced that he is merely in a hallucinogenic coma and treats his demonic tortures as fascinating biological illusions, much to Satan's frustration. To prove that humanity is inherently wicked, Satan takes the Professor to observe his own funeral, and subsequently makes the wretchedly corrupt Thomas his new roommate in Hell. Concurrently, Satan solves the agonizing problem of the relentlessly singing French spirit Edith Piaf by forcing her to eat boiled swede prepared by a Welsh dinner lady.
