Kyle MacLachlan EXPOSED Sting's Real Behavior on Dune - Jimmy Kimmel Was STUNNED!

Behind the polished veneer of Hollywood press tours lies the hilarious, awkward, and completely unscripted truth of cinematic history. Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live, acting icon Kyle MacLachlan sat down with Jimmy Kimmel to peel back the curtain on some of the most legendary movie sets of the last forty years. From the chaotic 1984 production of David Lynch's "Dune," where a 23-year-old MacLachlan found himself in Mexico City dormitory rooms getting private acoustic guitar lessons from rock legend Sting (learning "Message in a Bottle" and "Roxanne") while Patrick Stewart genuinely believed Sting was an actual British police officer who played in a brass band, to the surreal tension of shooting "Blue Velvet" while Lynch directed intimate scenes with his real-life partner Isabella Rossellini, MacLachlan held nothing back. The conversation took an even wilder turn when Kimmel opened up about his own deeply scarring on-camera moments—including standing around in embarrassing underpants in front of global icons Beyoncé and Cindy Crawford—before diving into the cultural phenomenon of "Sex and the City," where NYC taxi drivers and doormen routinely yelled unsolicited encouragement about his character's marital performance across busy Manhattan streets.
