Nozomu Abe 阿部望 Sakuga MAD

Possibly the greatest effects animator of all time. The best set of words I can use to describe him is "maximum satisfaction", especially with his work in Ufotable. Even beyond the incredible effects, Abe is very good at meticulous timing, often using slow-motion and fast-motion as well as eye close-ups very frequently. He is also very solid at drawings and utilizing smears at the best spots. His non-ufotable work is a bit underrated, but often times IMO he seems to get screwed over by bad compositing, bad colors, or just boring direction. Ufotable is what brought out the very best in him, and I'm more than thankful for it.
