Walking Tour: Novi Zagreb, Croatia - Socialist Era (Pt. 1) - 4K UHD Virtual Travel

Novi Zagreb (New Zagreb) is a suburban area of Zagreb, located south of river Sava and thus is separated from the old part of the city. It consists of planned districts built in socialist era during the period when Croatia was a part of the Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia (1945 - 1990). It represents an ideal of socialist community with huge concrete residential buildings, lots of open space, parks, playgrounds, amenities, broad avenues and accessible traffic system. Like most European socialist era districts - Novi Zagreb is a bit controversial, you either love it or hate it. So have a look! :) Part 1 video includes neighborhoods: 0:00 - Zapruđe 14:30 - Utrina 26:40 - Travno 42:15 - Dugave Book your next trip to Croatia here! https://www.booking.com/searchresults...
