Port of Call: Falmouth, England

Our Majestic Princess Cruise’s first port of call was Falmouth, England. Falmouth, England grew up around the world‘s greatest natural harbor. But even though this Natural Harbor is tooted as being very deep, our ship was not able to make it to a dock. This port is a tender port meaning that we have to take a smaller boat to get to shore. On a cruise ship with 3800 people this can be a challenge, but the early bird gets the worm. We were on one of the first tenders to leave the ship and arrived in port at about 7:30 in the morning. We were welcome to Falmouth by a gentleman who gave us a map some general ideas and instructions and sent us on our way. We started out with a nice brisk walk around the Pendennis Castle headed down to the beach back to the town and then took a boat ride on the harbor and up the River Fal. We also continue to learn about our new Insta360 X5 camera, and some of the cool shots we can get with this.
