ALLEGIANCE — “HOLLOW KING” CHAPTER II: SLOTH A throne without a king. A crown without purpose. A body that refuses to rise. “Hollow King” is Chapter II of Allegiance’s descent through the Seven Deadly Sins — a story of belief, corruption, and the forces that keep us obedient even when we have nothing left to worship. Lyric: A hollow king on a crumbling throne Too tired to stand, too weak to atone A hollow king who sees no light Too tired to act, too weak to fight I let the fire inside me die Eyes half open to a dying day Dust on the dreams that I threw away The clock keeps ticking but I stay still Chained to the comfort that slowly kills The clock keeps ticking and it slowly kills I let the fire inside me die Watched every vision fossilise A hollow king on a crumbling throne Too tired to stand, too weak to atone Tomorrow whispers, "You'll change your ways" But tomorrow dies in the same old haze Chained to the comfort, and it slowly kills I let the fire inside me die Watched every vision fossilise A hollow king on a crumbling throne Too tired to stand, too weak to atone I Fed the beast of my decay Now it drags my soul away A monumental being of wasted breath A dark life, a slower death Beneath the weight of nothing My mind, finally laid to rest Laid to rest Let the fire inside me die _____________________ Music Credits: Music by: Allegiance Produced & Arranged by: Syamim Rahmat Lyrics Written by: Raja Ras Ilyasa Video Credits: Video Editor: Muhammad Khairul
