Khalti Lake Phandar Ghizer | Gilgit Baltistan | Pakistan

Khalti is a beautiful place in Phandar Valley and is well known for it's gorgeous lake, Khalti, which is also best known for it's delicious Trout Fish. One can catch fish in this lake and near by the river but having good skills may be successful and the best time for a successful hunt is either early in the morning or in the evenings. It's about 135 KMs away from Gilgit city and it takes about 3-4 hours drive on any of the vehicle such as car, jeep, van, land cruiser e.tc. There are small hotels and PTDC nearby.
