Gumshoe | FREE MOVIE (Albert Finney, Billie Whitelaw, Frank Finlay)

Gumshoe (1971) stars Albert Finney, Billie Whitelaw, and Frank Finlay in a sharp British mystery directed by Stephen Frears. Finney plays Eddie Ginley, a bored Liverpool bingo caller who dreams of being a hardboiled detective—and gets more than he bargained for when his parody of a private eye ad leads to a real murder case. Blending homage and parody, the film mixes noir atmosphere with sardonic British wit, creating a unique fusion of mystery and self-aware comedy.
