Join me for an atmospheric scenic drive through Trentino, Italy, starting in Levico Terme in the Valsugana valley and continuing all the way to Riva del Garda. Low clouds, mist, and fog cover the surrounding mountains throughout much of the journey, giving the drive a quiet, mysterious, and cinematic atmosphere. The trip begins in Levico Terme, surrounded by the green landscape of Valsugana. From there, the road gradually leaves the valley behind and continues west across Trentino, passing through small towns, forested slopes, mountain roads, and changing landscapes. The misty weather completely transforms the scenery. Mountains appear and disappear behind the fog, distant ridges fade into the clouds, and the entire route feels calm and atmospheric. As the drive continues toward Riva del Garda, the landscape becomes more dramatic. The mountains rise steeply around the road, the valleys narrow, and the scenery gradually changes as we approach the northern side of Lake Garda. The contrast between the green Valsugana valley, the fog-covered mountains, and the road toward Riva del Garda gives this journey a special mood from beginning to end.
