Wandering Hampstead in rose season | Visiting Mottisfont gardens

Rose season was a bit early this year in England, but while it was still going strong, I visited a few stunning gardens and historic homes. First, I spend a day out in Hampstead, one of the most charming neighbourhoods in London. I met up with my friend Basia ‪@baga_finds‬ to visit Fenton House, a National Trust historic home and garden with an eclectic collection. We wandered around Hampstead which is almost like being in an countryside village. Then, my husband and I took a day trip to Mottisfont Abbey, another National Trust site in Hampshire. Their walled garden is home to many old rose varieties and an absolute show-stopper, so we will take a slow walk through the romantic rose garden.
