Over the coming weeks, we'll be visiting different locations across the Swiss Alps, discovering mountain lakes, winding trails and picturesque valleys before the heavier winter snowfall arrives. We're excited to share these beautiful locations with you and your pups! 🐾💚 💧 This Week's Location – Lake Mattmark: Nestled high in the Saas Valley in the Swiss canton of Valais, Lake Mattmark is a beautiful Alpine reservoir surrounded by towering mountains and rugged landscapes. Situated approximately 2,200 metres above sea level, the lake is known for its striking turquoise waters and impressive mountain backdrop. The surrounding trails offer wonderful views across the lake and towards the snow-covered peaks of the Swiss Alps. 🏞️ ❄️ A Touch of Early Winter: Although the heavier winter snowfall is still to come, the mountains surrounding Lake Mattmark have already received a beautiful covering of fresh snow. As Bruno & Percy explore the lakeside trails, the white mountain slopes contrast with the turquoise water below, creating a wonderful combination of autumn and winter scenery.
