Is what we watch before bed shaping how we feel the next morning? Sister Shivani ‪@bkshivani‬ of the Brahma Kumaris calls content emotional nutrition, and her view of social media, mental health and inner peace asks us to choose what we consume with the same care we give our food. The Awakening of Sister Shivani is an AyurPrana+ short film about meditation, emotional health and the inner shift that changes how we live. About sixteen years ago, a young Brahma Kumari student working behind the scenes at a media studio in Delhi was asked to sit in front of the camera with no script and a host she had just met. She resisted until there was no one else to ask. That day they recorded eight episodes of simple lessons about emotions, and viewers at home began watching with a notebook and pen. She has not prepared for a talk since, and her only preparation is a silent mind. Her teaching on content consumption is simple to practice. When we take charge of our inner world, our relationships and the world around us begin to shift with it.
