Across the Eurasian steppe, the Kipchaks — known in medieval Europe as the Cumans — were one of the most formidable horse-warrior cultures of the Turkic world. Their cavalry traditions, armour and distinctive military customs left a lasting mark on the history of the Middle Ages.In this project I wanted to build a single Kipchak soldier: a figure defined by an iconic masked helmet and a commanding presence. I based the armour, clothing and weapons on historical references, though some details may differ — figure painting always involves interpretation, and part of this piece is my own reading of the sources. If you enjoyed the build, subscribe — more Turkic history figures are on the way. #KipchakWarrior #Cuman #TurkicHistory #Figure #sculpting I used Polymer Clay Acrylic Paint Aluminum Foil Aluminum Wire My Social Media Accounts: Instagram:   / claytolia   PLAYLISTS: Game, Anime, Cartoon and Movie Character Figures:    • Game, Anime, Cartoon and Movie Character F...   Shorts Videos:    • Shorts Videos   Animal Themed Diorama Works:    • Animal Themed Diorama Works   Sculptures of Pokemon Characters:    • Sculptures of Pokemon Characters
