How different can the same astrophotography image look when you edit it directly in the Seestar app compared to processing it properly on a PC with Siril? All of the images were taken with my new Seestar S50 Pro In this video, I take the same data captured with my Seestar and process it in two completely different ways: first using the tools available directly in the Seestar app, and then using Siril on the computer. The difference is honestly pretty impressive. 👀 I’ll show you what you can achieve with a quick mobile edit, and what becomes possible when you have much more control over the image — from stretching and color correction to noise reduction, star management and fine details. I also test the power of the RC Astro processing suite, including: ✨ BlurXTerminator — recovering and enhancing fine details ✨ NoiseXTerminator — reducing noise while keeping the image sharp ✨ StarXTerminator — removing stars to process the nebula separately The goal isn't to make the image look completely artificial. I want to see how far we can push Seestar data while still keeping the final result looking like a real astrophotograph. So… Seestar app or Siril + RC Astro? Let's process the same image and find out. 🔭✨ 🛠️ Software used in this video: ZWO Seestar App Siril RC Astro BlurXTerminator RC Astro NoiseXTerminator RC Astro StarXTerminator GraXpert If you enjoy astrophotography, smart telescopes and realistic image processing, subscribe to AstroSimo and join me for the next test! 🚀 00:00 – Intro Seestar S50 Pro 01:00 – Dwarf Draco 01:20 – You don't need a professional setup 03:04 – IC1805 Heart Nebula 03:26 – NGC7822 Teddy Bear Nebula 03:46 – NGC7635 The Bubble Nebula 04:10 – NGC 7000 North America Nebula 04:31 – IC1396 Elephant's Trunk Nebula 04:48 – NGC 7000 North America Nebula 05:10 – NGC891 The Silver Silver Galaxy 05:10 – IC5070 Pelican Nebula 05:50 – M27 Dumbbell Nebula 06:18 – RC Astro Tools 07:00 – Should you buy BlurXTerminator 08:01 – Why I bought RC Astro 08:51 – AstroImages printed 09:15 – Learn an italian words #Astrophotography #Seestar #Siril #SeestarS50 #RCastro #S50Pro #AstroPhotography #SmartTelescope
