In this class we learned how to transition smoothly into a Surprise Swingout (a swingout from closed position, without a rockstep) from both inside and outside turns for the follower. We practiced Surprise Swingouts from three different spin-based moves - an underarm pass outside free spin, a double tuck turn (also an outside turn, but connected), and an inside turn as well.
