Cider Plays Still Wakes the Deep

I had heard about this game by The Chinese Room, who made Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, and I decided to check it out because it was new at the time and sounded interesting. It was an interesting cinematic adventure carried by really strong voice acting performances. As far as video games are concerned, there's barely anything there on a mechanical level. I mostly enjoyed it, but the lackluster gameplay and somewhat erratic storytelling make it fall short of being a masterpiece. I'd give it maybe a 7/10. Additionally, I am, in fact, good with the leccy. Originally streamed on 10/22/2024 Links: twitch:   / ciderspider   twitter:   / ciderspiderr
