The Danger of Forgetting Where You Started | Rev. Isaac Johnson | Colossians 3:17

The Danger of Forgetting Where You Started | Rev. Isaac Johnson | Colossians 3:17 Are you allowing your success and prosperity to pull you away from the foundation of your faith? Welcome to Manna Time! Today, Rev. Isaac Johnson brings a challenging message from Colossians 3:17: "And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." It is easy to hold on to Jesus when we are small, struggling, and in need. But what happens when God blesses us? What happens when we experience prosperity? So often, as we grow, it becomes easy to turn our attention away from God and toward ourselves. This is why King Saul fell! Before he was king, he feared God and humbled himself. But after a certain point of prosperity, he rejected God. We must never forget our foundation and our fundamentals! Everything we have is from the Lord, and everything we do must be for His glory.
