The 50th anniversary of Concorde's first flight- BBC London

March marks the 50th anniversary of Concorde's first flight. Known as 'the queen of the skies' reaching speeds of 1,350 mph it also broke records flying from London to New York in just under 3 hours. It did come at a cost though, which was more than eight thousand pounds in 2003, when Concorde was retired. Charlotte Franks looks back at its history.
