How Facing Mortality Inspires Better Art w/Abbi Jacobson || Tell Me Something Messy, S2E1

In this delightfully messy episode of Tell Me Something Messy, Brandon and Abbi Jacobson —actor, writer, producer, and co-creator of Broad City and A League of Their Own—(yes, that Abbi) tumble into the Messy Living Room to talk about art, impermanence, and why chasing a single “masterpiece” is overrated. Abbi confesses that not every work has to be your magnum opus, and that there’s health, joy, and a little freedom in making art just for art’s sake. The two also dive into what’s new: Abbi’s latest producing projects and acts of love including Prelude, that last time she partied-partied, and that little mortality thing that keeps creeping up. They discuss how creating without pressure can be a radical act of presence and dive into your Messy Mail. #love #selfesteem #substack #comedy #selfrespect #selfworth #funny #broadcity #abbijacobson #podcast #podcastclips Submit your game suggestions or Messy Mail: somethingmessy.com or tellmesomethingmessy@gmail.com Find Brandon: instagram.com/brandonkylegoodman Join The Messy Patron on Substack for weekly live shows and and more messy goodies! https://brandonkylegoodman.substack.com/
