091326 WEEK ON THE FARM: Loading Pigs, Sheep Parasite & Foot Rot Treatments... & MOWING mo' n mo'

We treated the whole flock on Monday for footrot prevention (zinc sulfate foot bath) and drenched every animal with a solid dose of Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) "elixir" which contains sea salt, molasses, garlic & oregano oil. The ewes in particular are sucking it down enthusiastically. Plus we are taking a group of pigs to the butcher and are attempting to entice them on to the stock trailer with treats...apples... peanuts... we need 5 of them on by sundown today... check back next week to see how we did!
