#001 JAZZY HIP HOP VINYL ONLY DJ MIX | 90s HIP HOP, JAZZ & BOOM BAP | DJ TATSUMAKI (NO ADS)

A late-night vinyl DJ mix from Tokyo, moving from Jazzy Hip Hop and 90s Boom Bap into deep Jazz. This is not your typical Jazzy Hip Hop mix. The journey starts with the iconic intro of Gang Starr’s “Jazz Thing,” moving into O.C.’s rare Jazzy remix of “Born to Live,” Lord Finesse’s “Gameplan,” Black Thought’s “Relax (Lord Finesse Remix),” and The 49ers’ “Breath of Fresh Air (DJ Chika Remix).” Then comes Sadao Watanabe’s “Star Eyes.” And from there, the mix gets deeper. The final stretch moves into three straight Jazz records — taking the journey from Jazzy Hip Hop all the way into real Jazz. A carefully selected mix of records that don’t often get played together. No playlist. No streaming. Just records, two turntables and a love for digging.
