The Other Side of the Table - Michael Reed

“The Other Side of the Table” is about realizing someone’s worth only after they have already moved on. It follows a man who sees the woman he once loved sitting across from someone else in the same places they used to share. The coffee shop where they first met. The park where they had their first date. The bench where they used to stay up talking. She is smiling again. Not the kind of smile she used to give him, with worry and hurt hiding underneath it, but the kind that looks easy and carefree. And while watching someone else give her the happiness he should have given her, he is left with one thought: He should have been the man on the other side of the table. “The Other Side of the Table” by Michael Reed. #TheOtherSideOfTheTable #MichaelReed #indiefolk #acousticrockballads #originalmusic #emotionalsong #singersongwriter #storysongs #originalsongs
