Bannockburn Battleground, Holds the Secret to Mass Burial Pits.

In collaboration with Max Muir from Robert the Bruce Genius of Bannockburn fame we explore day 2 of the Battle of Bannockburn site and pose the big unanswered question "Where are the Dead?" Bannockburn was a massive battle between the forces of Scotland led by Robert the Bruce and the English led by Edward II. It was an unusual battle in that it was fought over two days. On day 2 the English army was routed by the Scots and thousands died as they fled. However, Bannockburn just like Hastings, Agincourt, Crecy and more recently Waterloo has held onto the secret of where the dead were buried. As we explore the site of day 2 of the battle we discuss some of how the battle unfolded and where the burial pits of the dead soldiers might be. To this day they have never been found.
