This week's compilation features a selection of workshop repairs, starting with a Carrera e-bike that might be the dirtiest machine to ever cross the threshold. It arrived with brakes worn down completely to the backing plates, a jumping chain, and a thick layer of caked mud obscuring the components. After a serious clean-up, we tackle a standard lower leg service on a RockShox fork, repair a smashed Carrera rear derailleur that found its way into the spokes, and use two different methods to revive a set of sticky 35-year-old Shimano Rapidfire shifters. E-Bike Resuscitation: Deep cleaning a Carrera e-bike, replacing spent rotors and pads with EBC components, and installing a new chain.
