Prevention work doesn't always come with a clear road map for how to advance your career! Most people don't plan ahead of time for a prevention career, it's often a position that morphs or adds new job duties when grant funding is achieved. If you've ever wondered what's next for your career, want motivation on certification and are looking for tips on networking in prevention, this training is for you! Participant workbook: https://pttcnetwork.org/wp-content/up... Objectives: 1. Describe the scope of prevention as a career field. 2. Identify at least two personal strengths and connect those strengths to potential areas of focus within prevention work (e.g., coalition building, evaluation, policy, education, or community engagement). 3. Learn at least 2-3 strategies for navigating imposter syndrome. 4. Develop at least one professional relationship and learn more about opportunities to network with others in the field.
