Owyhee Mountains ride 11 13 2016

ATV ride in the Owyhee Mountains in south western Idaho in late fall. Rode up to the top of War Eagle Mountain then tried several old mining roads until we found one that was clear enough for the 2000 foot decent into Silver City Idaho. All through those mountains there are dozens if not hundreds of abandoned mines, most of which have been sealed off to keep people out. There are some active mines and claims up there still.
