The Picnic Blanket Jacket - British Fashion Council X Barbour Reimagined Tartan Competition

This fashion film showcases my winning piece for the British Fashion Council X Barbour Reimagined Tartan Competition. This project consists of a transforming garment, a Barbour inspired jacket that transforms into a picnic blanket, via a complex modular hardware set up, I embraced the utility found in Barbour's heritage and worked with traditional wax fabrics. I spent time designing and transforming pockets and sleeves into bags and pillows as separate accessories for this piece I want to give my thanks to The British Fashion Council for the opportunity and their support, as well as the Barbour family and team for being such generous and helpful collaborators in this project.
