M15 and his new mate visited the nest pasture/nest tree together again! Video opens with an Osprey catching a fish, then M15 (likely) chasing the Osprey behind the church. They leave cam view, and the female flies in from the NW, landing on the W upper branches. An Osprey perched in a front snag leaves. Less than two minutes after M15 was chasing the other Osprey behind the church, he arrives at the office oak with a fish. Hot or Caught?! I am going with Hot on this one! Only M15 knows for sure, and he ain't talking! After eating his fish out of cam view, M15 flies to the pond for wading and sips. He then joins the female in the nest tree. They perch for a bit, and watch to the E. The female leaves first, and M15 immediately follows her out. The next segment is an earlier solo visit by M15 to the nest tree. He lands on a small perch branch in the E upper branches, and it breaks off. No big deal; it was a small dead branch. The small branch falling is shown on Cam2. M15's arrival is then shown on Cam1. Looks like he was coming down from soaring. After breaking off the small branch, he lands on the attic, then moves to the treetop perch. He leaves heading E. Next up is a Commercial Break! Four fishing attempts by Osprey in the pasture pond. The first looked successful (small catch), the second was a miss, and the third/fourth were both successful. The last segment of the video are the two solo visits M15 made on 10-9-26. Thanks for bringing your friend to the pasture, M15! Keep letting her know this is a great spot, and we all (well, most of us 😉) want to watch you two nest here! The female with M15 has not yet received a number/name. That will be determined by the Pritchett family and the SWFL Eagle Cam Team. Time Stamps: Provided in DVR time; actual time is on the cam clock, upper left corner. 10-11-26 00:00.
