BATTLE OF THE RAAS 2026 | Western University Mustang Mastis

Western's Mustang Mastis took flight with a tale of unity through diversity. Black swans (the seasoned dancers) and white swans (the learners and teachers) collide, clash, and ultimately soar together. A metaphor for belonging in Garba—where different levels of experience don't divide, they harmonize. Inspired by the spirit of "Rio," this set proves that dancing together means flying together. Performed at Battle of the Raas, Canada's premier intercollegiate Garba-Raas competition, this set demonstrates the creative expression and cultural passion that defines RAASMotion's annual event. About Battle of the Raas: Battle of the Raas is the first Raas-Garba competition of its kind in Eastern Canada, bringing together university and college dance teams from across Ontario to celebrate and compete in these vibrant cultural art forms. Hosted by RAASMotion, a nonprofit dedicated to igniting creative expression through Garba and Raas. 🎭 Follow RAASMotion: 📱 Instagram: @raasmotion ✉️ raaasmotion@gmail.com Videography, Cinematography, and Editing by: https://www.happysoulfilms.ca/ 📱 Youtube & Instagram: ⁨ ‪@HappySoulFilms‬ #GarbaRaas #RaasMotion #BattleOfTheRaas #GujaratiDance #CulturalDance #University
